Ministry Leader: Brivzetta McKnight

 

Purpose: "For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness: " Psalm 84:10

 

The usher ministry is responsible for greeting and seating the congregation at regular services and at other times when large gatherings are held in the church. Receive the offering during regular and scheduled worship services. Other duties include welcoming members and visitors as they enter to worship, serving as liaison between the Pastor and the congregation, and attending to the general needs of the worshippers. This ministry is instrumental in making the initial impression of the church, as members of this ministry are often the first congregates our guests encounter. During the intimacy of information gathering, the guests have an opportunity to experience the warmth of LCC.
